Humantay Lake is in Salcantay route, and it is amazing lake which is located between the Humantay and Salcantay mountains. It takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to hike up to the lake from Sorayapmpa, and it is around 4100m. It is important to mention is not allowed to swim in the lake in order to protect it. Humantay lake is below Humantay peaks which its daily melting the water collects to form the stunning lake. The colour of the lake is produced by inside minerals and bacteria.
